Just Inside Taylor Swift’s Secret Music Video After Bombshell Travis Kelce Reveal: “The Hours Were Intense”…See More

Taylor Swift has been quietly working on a high-profile music video as she prepares to unveil her 12th studio album, and it demanded an intense schedule full of long hours according to insiders.

The 35-year-old popstar announced The Life of a Showgirl on Tuesday, July 12 and is already designing a music video, which according to those familiar with her team, was filmed over several days at Los Angeles sound stages, featuring vintage costumes, elaborate choreography, and a team of trusted backup dancers.

The hours were intense with many late nights, and filming over several days,” a source revealed, as per The Sun. “Full details have to be kept under wraps to not spoil any surprises, but the theme is very glam and vintage.

“Several stylists worked on the looks, and multiple backup dancers were involved who have worked with her for years.”
The Eras Tour sensation teased the upcoming album during a promo clip on New Heights, the podcast hosted by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce; and his older brother, Jason.

The full episode is set to drop Wednesday at 7 pm ET and fans have reacted with excitement, as the singer’s return to a more theatrical, performance-focused style appears imminent months after she securing the rights to her own music.

While Swift has not confirmed an official release date, her website notes that physical copies of The Life of a Showgirl will be available by October 13, and pre-orders for vinyl and cassette editions are already live, including a special limited vinyl in “Portofino orange glitter.”
A brief teaser posted on Instagram showed Swift pulling a copy of the album from a briefcase, with the cover intentionally blurred, although rior social media hints included a mysterious orange silhouette.

The new project follows her last release, The Tortured Poets Department, which accompanied her record-breaking Eras tour that grossed over $2.2 billion worldwide. There were just 243 days between the end of the tour and release of that album.

“Over the past few years,” music industry expert Gemma Peplow told Sky News, “Swift has also re-recorded and re-released four of her early albums in a (now resolved) battle over the rights to her master recordings.
With the new announcement, she’s living up to her reputation as the hardest-working star in pop.”

Fans are now speculating on the musical direction of The Life of a Showgirl, with expectations for a return to pop sensibilities after Swift explored folk and more experimental styles during recent projects.
