Amazing : Halle Bailey Dons Sheer Red Dress and Louboutin Open-Toe Sandal for Vanity Fair’s 2025 Oscars After Party
Halle Bailey was one in a crush of celebrities out and about on Sunday for Oscars weekend. After the Academy Awards ceremony, she went to what is arguably the most anticipated party of the night: the Vanity Fair Oscars after party.
Bailey took on the long running sheer trend. The singer and actress did monochromatic dressing in a red lace dress with spaghetti straps. The lace also included sequined embellishments. The dress was from Samuel Gaertner and styled by Nicky Goodman.
For shoes, Bailey chose a pair of Christian Louboutin open-toe sandal. The shoe includes an open-toe. The strap across the toe is thick and features a rounded vamp. The style includes a satin upper and is single sole. It also has a slingback strap with an ankle strap. A metal buckle provides additional security.
The shoe has a stiletto heel that likely measures about four inches. The sole also has a red lacquered sole. Louboutin has been doing shoes with red lacquered soles since the early 1990s.
There were quite a number of open toe styles on Sunday. Tracee Ellis Ross and Storm Reid both wore an open-toe black slingback from Gianvito Rossi on Sunday, the latter wearing the shoe to the actual Oscar ceremony. Louboutin also made a peep-toe for Demi Moore. That style included a glitter upper and was the company’s Mini Glitter Cathy.
Keke Palmer closed out her sartorially successful award season at the Vanity Fair as well. For it she wore a pair of Jimmy Choo slingback sandals with an open toe. It was the company’s Tabatha shoe.
The 97th Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre on March 2. “Anora” took home Best Picture and four more trophies, including Best Director for Sean Baker and Best Actress in a Leading Role for Mikey Madison. Additional Oscar winners included Adrien Brody, who won Best Actor in a Leading Role for “The Brutalist”; Zoe Saldaña, who earned the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for “Emilia Pérez”; and Kieran Culkin, who nabbed the trophy for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for “A Real Pain.”
