Heated debate recently unfolded on the Wednesday episode of talk show, The View, after Charlemagne Tha God clashed with Whoopi Goldberg over President Joe Biden’s decision to pardon his son, Hunter Biden.

The conversation kicked off with the radio personality being asked about his opinion on the backlash President Biden has received for pardoning Hunter prior to his departure from the White House. He criticized the president for going against what the Democratic party frequently chanted during the previous election cycle, “no one is above the law.”

Charlamagne pushed back on Goldberg’s explanation, stating that it’s the Democrats “fault” for having that mindset and putting themselves on a different pedestal. Additionally, he challenged the co-hosts on their choice to not call out their own political party. As a response, Goldberg stated that she no problem with pressing Democrats when necessary but maintains that President Biden’s decision wasn’t a misstep.

“I don’t think Joe Biden was wrong,” Goldberg said.

Things turn a brief turn when Charlamagne dismissed her comment as “ridiculous,” which she quickly fired back, “you’re ridiculous.”
