BREAKING :Taylor Swift ends her 100-day social media break to support a fellow musician while spending time apart from Travis Kelce…Read More

Super Bowl LIX took a toll on everyone involved with the Kansas City Chiefs. Perhaps no one took the team’s loss to the Kelce, who took time to make a decision between retiring or coming back for another season. Kelce’s sorrow was also tough for Taylor Swift, who had to be by her boyfriend’s side to support him during a difficult period.

As the weeks pass by, both Swift and Kelce continue to be very inactive on social media. Kelce hasn’t made a post of his own on his accounts, while Swift had continued a very long drought of social media posts herself. That came to an end for Swift on Saturday, though, as she took some time out to promote Selena Gomez’s collaborative album with boyfriend Benny Blanco.

Swift didn’t make a dedicated post on her social media feeds, but she took to Instagram stories to post about the album. She linked to the album and put this caption: “I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDDD”.
Swift had last posted on her Instagram stories 65 days ago, but she hasn’t posted on her feed for 100 days. She appears to be taking a long break from social media, accentuated by the Chiefs’ playoff run and the subsequent loss that led to Kelce needing additional support.

Swift has made plenty of public appearances during that time, so it’s not as if she’s in hibernation. She’s simply taking more time to herself, especially following a physically and emotionally draining tour.
