John Cena Reflects on Filming Awkward Scene with Amy Schumer in Trainwreck
During a recent appearance on Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe, actor and former WWE superstar John Cena opened up about an amusing yet awkward moment from his time on the set of the 2015 comedy Trainwreck, in which he starred opposite comedian Amy Schumer.
Cena, now 47, recalled the scene with good humor, describing how Schumer helped create a supportive atmosphere on set. “Amy is an angel—she made the environment so comfortable,” he said. “When I got the part, they eventually told me, ‘It’s a sex scene. We want to go with something a bit wild, almost like stunt choreography. Oh, and all the lines you rehearsed? We probably won’t use them.
