Sunday Sadness Hits Taylor Swift Community”… See More

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has been breaking more and more into the spotlight of late after being low-key and staying under the radar over the past couple of months.

The same cannot be said for Taylor Swift, though, as Kelce’s girlfriend continues to stay away from the public eye. As a matter of fact, it has now been well over a month since the couple was photographed in public together during a New York City date night.

Speaking of The Big Apple, one of the biggest events in the city is coming up on Monday, which is why there has been some speculation about Swift potentially making her next major public appearance.
The Met Gala, deemed as fashion’s biggest night, will take place on Monday at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in Central Park. Swift has attended this same event several times in the past, and some believe that she could make a comeback this year.

Swifties on social media, however, are not holding their breath. In fact, more than a few of them were left saddened by the notion that the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer will not take part in the Met Gala on Monday.
There is still always a chance that Swift — and perhaps even Kelce — will attend the Met Gala on Monday. However, as pointed out above, if it happens, it would be the first time the “Fortnight” singer joins the festivities in nearly a decade after last gracing the famed stairs in 2016.

The Swifties, though, have already spoken, and while there is still a bit of cautious optimism among some of them, the general belief is that it’s going to be another no-show for her.
