Fans discovered on Tuesday that the 35-year-old singer made history as the first female artist on Spotify to surpass 105 billion streams. The only artist to have more streams than the “Lavender Haze” hitmaker is rapper Drake, who has over 115 billion streams according to Kworb.
Other artists that are trailing behind her with this achievement include Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny with 101 billion streams and The Weeknd with 80 million
Ever since Swift announced on May 30 that she bought the rights back to the master recordings for her first six albums, fans have been streaming her whole discography nonstop. For the first five days of June, the “You Need to Calm Down” singer was consecutively the #1 most-streamed artist on Spotify.
