WATCH Patrick Mahomes drops a SAD and EMOTIONAL note to his fans Speaking Out After Super Bowl Defeat: ‘I Can’t Bear to Watch Anymore’”
Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025, quarterback Patrick Mahomes shared an emotional message with fans. He acknowledged his performance shortcomings and expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from Chiefs Kingdom. Mahomes stated, “I let y’all down today. I’ll always continue to work and try and learn and be better for it. We will be back.”
In the game, Mahomes completed 21 of 32 passes for 257 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. The Eagles’ defense applied relentless pressure, sacking Mahomes six times and limiting his mobility.
Despite the defeat, Mahomes remains committed to improving and leading the Chiefs to future successes.
